IP cameras are used if a few cameras need to be installed without a DVR and remote viewing is required. The IP camera needs a CAT6 cable with internet connection.
A speed dome camera is used for online continuous monitoring of a wide area by security persons. PTZ cameras can PAN (rotate) around fully, tilt up or down, or zoom close to the object and can be controlled remotely.
